Swedish disappointment

Restaurant: IKEA Gran Via
Dish: Swedish Meatballs with mash potatoes fries
Price: €4,95

Review: Having had this dish a few times over the past couple of years. It has sprung into somewhat of a Bachelor favorite. It's easy to cook, the taste resembles what socialism was set out to create. Modest and fair living. This dish is just that, modest and fair.

When properly executed that is.

Confused I stood there, in line at IKEA. The canteen lady asking me if I want something else, as I'm holding up the line.

I politely ask why the meatballs are served with fries, as opposed to a real condiment (read: mash or boiled potatoes).
Simplicity was the answer. I guess that the old socialist dish that I used to enjoy has now evolved in to a more streamlined, futuristic and dare I say.. capitalist self. I for one will take the time to boil my own potatoes, I would hate to see a future ruled by French fries.

Overall rating: 2/5
Presentation: Poor
Affordability: Very affordable
Taste: Decent
